Therapy to meet your unique needs and goals
Learn to care for yourself, first
I love working with highly creative people who want to find their voice, heal their anxiety and self-doubt, and foster meaningful connections with themselves and the world around them. There is meaning to be found in your struggle. Together we can work to help you make peace with past trauma, find safety in the current moment, and take joyful steps into your future.
Through our work together, you can practice holding compassion for yourself, making your own wants and needs a priority, develop communication strategies that focus on connection and self-advocacy within your relationships; and develop trust for yourself and the inner wisdom you hold.
Creative Souls Welcome
Your creativity is your greatest gift, but sometimes it can feel like a curse. Have you noticed your anxiety increasing around your artistic pursuits? Maybe you’ve stopped creating altogether, or are experiencing a tremendous creative block. Maybe you’re able to start new projects, but having trouble following them through to the finish. The imposter syndrome is real and you are trapped in its clutches, unable to put your gifts out into the world for fear you will be found a fraud.
Healing your relationship to your art is possible. Learning about yourself, your values, and your unique approach to your creative journey can help you return to your creative work with compassion, joy, and curiosity.
LGBTQIA2S+
Starting therapy is hard enough without also having to worry if your therapist is secretly judging you for being who you are, or loving who you love. You deserve to feel safe and affirmed, and to trust that your therapist values all the unique parts of you.
I work with our queer community to explore gender, identity, and sexuality from a strengths-based approach. I can help you process early experiences that taught you harmful messages about who you are, and who you love. Together, we can build more self-compassion, more self-love, and more joyful community.
I have a special passion for working with LGBTQ parents and families, and bring my years as a child therapist, Nurtured Heart Approach trainer, and parenting educator to support the growth and healing of queer families.
